Katalin László received a certificate of chemistry technician at Móravárosi Technical College of Szeged in 1977. She worked as a chemistry laboratory assistant for 40 years at the Biological Research Center of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Szeged. She is skilled in the fields of nucleotide-chemistry, DNA synthesis, chemical library synthesis and HPLC analysis.
