Anthelos extended its chemical potential by applying optimized protocols

11/16/2024

Anthelos has extended its chemical potential by optimizing large scale morpholino phosphoramidite synthon synthesis. Anthelos is capable of synthesizing kilogram quantity of synthons for sale and for large scale morpholino oligonucleotide production.

Phosphorodiamidate morpholino oligonucleotides (PMOs) are a promising type of antisense oligonucleotides, but so far their challenging synthesis made them difficult to access.  PMOs are considered promising antisense drugs as they possess high binding affinity to target mRNA, provide sequence specificity, they have good solubility in water, and low toxicity. Our synthetic approach would facilitate the large-scale synthesis of PMOs and accelerate their tests in clinical trials and their accessibility as a next-generation therapy.
